Glowy Skin in a Bottle // NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser Review

It's September, so that means it's officially ok to start feeling autumnal (even if our summer weather had other ideas). It feels a little late to be reviewing a product that I've been using loads over the summer, but to be honest I can see myself using this a hell of a lot more than that! I originally bought this back in March - I always use a tinted moisturiser if I'm wearing make-up for uni as the air con in the studios can be quite harsh on my skin, so when I ran out of my last tinted moisturiser, this was the one I chose to replace it. RRP £31 I've never actually used anything from NARS before, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I've heard really good things about most of their foundations and this one came up pretty highly rated when I was searching for a replacement. It retails for £31, and for that price you get 50ml of product, which definitely makes it on the more expensive side. However, you do only need a small amount and since it...

Birchbox Goodies // August 2019

When your Birchbox is more summery than the weather outside 😂 Remember last month when I was complaining about the heat? I'd like a little bit of warmth back, please and thank you! This month, Birchbox are celebrating all things summer, with a box of treats that are perfect for warmer weather! In this box, I got a ModelCo highlighter, a GLAMGLOW mask, a Hyaluronic mist from Balance Me, an Anatomicals body scrub and a moisturising cream from Oribe! ModelCo Mermaid Glow Highlighter RRP £10 Anything mermaid-themed and I'm pretty much sold, let's be honest. I wasn't sure I'd like this at first because of all the different colours, but once I swirled my brush around the whole pan I got a really gorgeous glow! I think you could probably use all the colours individually as well which is good, but I love how this looked on the skin all mixed together. I found it didn't latch on to any texture on my skin and it lasted all day without leaving me with a glit...

Birchbox Goodies // July 2019

Have to say, this heat is not exactly making me feel like a unicorn at this moment in time (cheers, Global Warming 😒) so bear with me while I pretend the sweat is actually some kind of magical glow. This month, Birchbox are celebrating all things unicorn with a box full of gorgeous treats for us. In this box, I received a Floss eyeshadow, a Marcelle mascara, a tinted moisturiser from Lumene (my absolute FAVE brand), a sleep spray from This Works and a Percy & Reed de-frizz spray. Floss Beauty My Everyday Eyeshadow in "Tokyo" RRP £12.50 I am a sucker for a shimmery pink eyeshadow, especially in the summer and this is absolutely stunning! It has brilliant staying power and it goes on like a dream. I find it works best if you apply it to the lid with your finger and then blend it out with a matte shade (I've been pairing it with my  TooFaced Just Peachy Mattes palette  and it's such a gorgeous combo for summer) Would I buy it again? Yes! Marcelle Xtens...

Birchbox Goodies // June 2019

Well, at least my June Birchbox is giving me some summer vibes because this weather sure isn't! Is a bit of sunshine too much to ask for?  This month, Birchbox has teamed up with Paperchase for their box design and they're encouraging us to embrace some wanderlust and get out on an adventure (weather permitting). Paperchase is definitely my favourite stationary brand and I could easily spend all day browsing their products! This month, I received a Laritzy lip crayon, a Gimme Brow from Benefit, a Rituals body cream, an eye mask from Wander and an amika shampoo. Read on to see what I thought! Laritzy Lip Stix in "Plum" RRP £20 I was pretty excited to see another product from Laritzy in this month's box - I got a liquid lipstick from them a couple of months ago and it's honestly one of the best formulas I've ever used! This product is more of a lip crayon with a satin finish and the colour is absolutely stunning. My only criticism is that it real...

Birchbox Goodies // May 2019

Does anyone else have a major urge to just spend the next few months sitting in the nearest beer garden or is that just me? Summer is well and truly making its return and for this month's Birchbox we're celebrating being able to spread our wings (although I wish those wings were taking me to a beach). In this box, I got a Lord & Berry eyeliner, a toner from Sukin, a Beautaniq mascara, a face sunscreen from Mimitika and a hair mask from Philip Kingsley. Lord & Berry Line/Shade Eye Pencil RRP £13 I'm pretty sure I've received one of these in a previous Birchbox and from what I remember, I liked this product then and I like it now! I don't really use black pencil liner unless I'm doing a dark smokey eye, in which case I'll use it to line my bottom lashline. This one is pretty pigmented and also smudges out really nicely so it ticks all the boxes for what I look for in a product like this. I do think the price tag is a little expensive though, ...

Birchbox Goodies // April 2019

I'm writing this having just watched the latest Game of Thrones episode so bear with - I'm a bit emotionally fragile right now! (If you haven't seen it yet you are in for 90 minutes of OH MY CHRIST) A little bit late with this month's Birchbox post; I've started back at school again so it's been a little bit crazy but I figured I'd get this out while I've still got 2 days of the month left! This month's box is inspired by the healing power of crystals and enhancing your natural glow from within. Now, I don't really believe in crystal healing but I am all about that inner glow (plus they're beautiful to look at) so I was pretty excited by this box design! This month, I received a Benefit POREfessional primer, an ESTATE highlighter, an eye mask from Vitamasques, a Human+Kind moisturiser and an eye cream from Balance Me. ESTATE Cosmetics Dew Me Baked Highlighter in "Afterglow" RRP £10 Ok, so I wasn't really looking forw...

The Cherry On Top // Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette Review

Wow I'm actually sitting down to review something that isn't a Birchbox 😂 I've been meaning to write this post since October when I got this palette, but as usual school and other life stuff have meant it's taken until now to do! RRP £42 This palette originally launched in September as a new instalment of Urban Decay's Naked series. I was really excited by it, as it's very different to all of the other Naked palettes out there and I'm a sucker for anything remotely pink-toned. It retails for £42, making it one of the more expensive palettes in the Naked series, and inside are 12 beautiful berry-toned shades: Hot Spot - a matte ivory shade. I always use these for setting my eyeshadow primer and as a browbone highlight shade. Caution - a neutral matte beige. Bang Bang - a pink shimmer. Feelz - a dusty rose matte shade. Juicy - a peachy pink matte. This is a great transition shade. Turn On - a gorgeous rose-gold metallic shade. Ambitio...

Birchbox Goodies // March 2019

Welcome back to the bubble! I've got another Birchbox review here for you and in honour of International Women's Month, Birchbox have created a design that's serving all the boss bitch realness! All the products in this month's box are designed to make a busy life that little bit easier so we can get on with running the world. In this box, I received a Beauty Crop bronzer, an eyebrow gel from Chella, a Generation Clay mask, a Caudalie serum and a Palmer's coconut oil shampoo, as well as a little sample of Charlotte Tilbury's Scent of a Dream. I also randomly received a liquid bronzer/highlighter from a brand called Rouge Bunny Rouge. I'm not sure if this was a mistake because there's nothing about it on the information card, but hey I'm not going to complain about an extra product! The Beauty Crop Bronzer Compact in "Sardinia Sands" RRP £8 I was actually really surprised at how much I love this little bronzer! I've always been...

Birchbox Goodies // February 2019

Well after January being the longest month EVER, February is here and has completely flown by in my opinion! I haven't had a lot of chance to sit down and write this review, hence why it's coming 2 days before the end of the month, but better late than never I guess! This month, Birchbox have teamed up with Not on the High Street to bring us a box filled with the perfect products for a bit of self-love. I absolutely love the floral design this month as well, it's really helping get me in the mood for spring! In this box, I received a LOC liquid eyeshadow, an Anatomicals shower gel, the Coco & Eve hair mask (I've been dying to try this), a Luxie blending brush and a gorgeous lipstick from NABLA Cosmetics! LOC Liquid Shimmer Eyeshadow in "Moonlight" RRP £8 I've had a few products from LOC in previous Birchboxes and I'm always pretty impressed by them and also quite surprised at how affordable they are, especially given the quality. I've...
