Fabulous Fenty // Fenty Beauty Buys Review

I mean, it was only a matter of time before Fenty Beauty started appearing on my blog. Rihanna launched this line earlier in the summer, and the world went into meltdown - mostly because her foundation shades were so inclusive, not only for people with darker skin who very rarely find their shade in mainstream beauty lines but she's also catered for people who have albinism. Her range is probably more on the pricier side of things (I'd say around about the same kind of prices as brands like Benefit or Urban Decay) but from what I've tried so far, her products are more than worth the money! Rihanna is a huge role model for me - her no nonsense, no bullshit attitude is something I think is hugely important and she's one of the few celebrities out their who put their money where their mouth is in terms of social justice. She is a huge champion of diversity (as shown in her ad for Fenty) and she's someone I really admire. If you've followed the blog for a while,...

Kiko Are Killing It // Kiko Milano Fall 2.0 Collection Haul

So this post has been a bit of a long time coming; I think the collection originally launched sometime in early August, but I've only just been able to get my hands on some products! This is a capsule collection that Kiko launched and it's all inspired by the city of Venice, there's quite a few new products and some autumnal twists on products they already sell. The lipsticks, eyeliners and highlighters all come in a variety of different shades and they also have a mineral foundation, brushes, blushes, a bronzer and my personal favourite, magnetic eyeshadow! It's just the pots that are magnetic, so they have a wavey pattern that basically never disappears because the magnet keeps it in place. I'm still a bit gutted I didn't pick one up, but I do already own quite a few metallic eyeshadows, so I might pop back and have another look! The products I did end up purchasing were the eye contour mask, eyeliner in "Future is Gold", lip liner and lipstick, bo...

Sleek Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette Review

Contouring has always terrified me. I tried it once a few years ago with a very cheap bronzer and a very big fan brush and just ended up looking like I'd had a dodgy spray tan (I've never trusted a bronzer since). Since then, I've avoided contouring like the plague and have spent ages lusting after those chiseled cheekbones that you plastered all over make up gurus' social media pages. UNTIL NOW! Ok, that was probably very dramatic but I am so excited over this contour kit and the fact I now have the ability to at least do the basics when it comes to contouring! I really like Sleek products, they're super affordable and a lot of their stuff easily contends with some of the more expensive brands out there. I happened to buy their Face Contour Kit for a friend's Christmas present a couple of years ago and she really loves it, especially the highlight shade. They also do a cream contour kit, but being a virgin when it comes to this, I figured it was best...
