Birchbox Goodies // September 2017

My first blog post in my new flat in Birmingham! It literally took me about half an hour to figure out the best place to take photos for my blog, so I hope you appreciate the effort I went to here 😉 So here is my September Birchbox review! This month, Birchbox has teamed up with lifestyle brand Oliver Bonas with a message to "Work hard, play hard & be kind" which is definitely something I can get behind! I really love Oliver Bonas as a brand, I've bought a couple of things from them in the past and they have some beautiful stuff. We also got the chance to choose the design of our Birchbox, either the Lucinda or Sass Squad print. I obviously went with the Sass Squad print! In this box I received a Polaar IcyMagic Instant Eye Contour Energiser, a Dr. PawPaw Original Clear Balm, a full-sized Manna Kadar Fantasy 3-in-1 Blush/Highlight/Eyeshadow and an Arrow BOOST Color Enhancing Lip Balm and a sample of Beauty Protector's Protect and Detangle spray! Kiko Are Killing It // Kiko Milano Fall 2.0 Collection Haul

So this post has been a bit of a long time coming; I think the collection originally launched sometime in early August, but I've only just been able to get my hands on some products! This is a capsule collection that Kiko launched and it's all inspired by the city of Venice, there's quite a few new products and some autumnal twists on products they already sell. The lipsticks, eyeliners and highlighters all come in a variety of different shades and they also have a mineral foundation, brushes, blushes, a bronzer and my personal favourite, magnetic eyeshadow! It's just the pots that are magnetic, so they have a wavey pattern that basically never disappears because the magnet keeps it in place. I'm still a bit gutted I didn't pick one up, but I do already own quite a few metallic eyeshadows, so I might pop back and have another look! The products I did end up purchasing were the eye contour mask, eyeliner in "Future is Gold", lip liner and lipstick, bo...

#GRLPWR // getitgrl.com clothing haul

So a few weeks ago I was followed on Instagram by a new clothing website called Get It Grl. They mentioned in their bio they were looking for bloggers to work with so I decided to chance it and sent them a message saying I'd be interested in doing a blog post once their website launched. I wasn't really expecting them to get back to me with a yes as I don't have a huge amount of Instagram followers at the moment due to restarting my account, but they messaged me back and gave me a discount code for people to use! I had to wait until payday to make my order so this blog post is a little bit delayed but I am so happy with the items I bought!

Birchbox Goodies // August 2017

I think this might possibly be my favourite Birchbox design so far! Anything vaguely mermaid-related and I will be all over it like a rash. This month, everything is mermaid-themed; from texture spray for those beach babe locks, down to the beautiful scale design on the box itself. All the heart-eye emojis! In this box I received a Loc One and Done eyeshadow stick, a sugar texturizing spray from Number 4, a Merci Handy hand sanitizer, some Sebamed mattifying cream, and of course the pinnacle of every mer-babe - a brush from Spectrum Collections! Read on to find out what I thought!

Birchbox Goodies // July 2017

So I'm a little bit late with this month's review - I got the box right in the middle of a show week and then went up to Coventry so I've struggled to find the time to sit down and write about the products I received this month! This month's box is inspired by "Summer Daze" hence the gorgeous sunset and palm tree design - and this month every subscriber got an extra product! In this box I got a Benefit Cosmetics Cha Cha Tint, the Flash Cleanse Micellar Water from Balance Me, the Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Overnight Recovery, an Anatomicals Softening Eucalyptus Foot Cream, a Whish Renewing Mud Mask and a sample of Lipsy London's Glam Perfume!

Holiday Haul // Duty-Free and Sephora Beauty Buys

Well you couldn't expect me to walk past Duty-Free and then spend four days in a country with a Sephora store on every corner and not come back without buying anything... Personally I think I showed great self-restraint given the situation! A couple of these are products that I've been interested in trying for a while now, so I figured I may as well save a bit of money in Duty-Free and the Sephora buys worked out slightly cheaper in Euros as well, so really I've done myself a favour here (at least that's what I'm telling my mum) Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Quickie Contour Stick So this is Benefit's latest product in their Hoola range. I've used their Hoola bronzer before which I love, and since I've fallen out of love with my  Nyx contour  I've been on the lookout for something to replace it. This is a cream that actually turns into a powder consistency when you apply it. What I really like about this is that you can use it flat or use it on its...

Birchbox Goodies // June 2017

So Birchbox are changing things up a little bit this month and instead of a box I received a Birch BAG  - this month is inspired by daytripping and the beautiful pastel candy stripes on this bag reminds me so much of the British seaside! I have been looking for a new make up bag so this is pretty perfect for me! This month I received a MeechNMia Brow Liner pencil, an Arrow waterproof eyeliner, a full-sized Cowshed Cow Pat Hand Cream, a sample of the Coconut Mango body scrub from Scrub Love and a Korres Milk Proteins 3-in-1 Cleansing Emulsion! MeechNMia Brow Liner in #22 I was very skeptical about this brow liner, mostly because this brand has zero pictures on their Instagram - I find I'm more likely to trust brands if they have more of an online presence and are actively showcasing their other products. It just gives me a better idea of the brand itself and what kind of market they tend to go for. However, the formula of this pencil was really nice, it was super soft a...
