Why I'm Not Making a New Year's Resolution

Ok, I lied, I still have one more blog post left in me for 2018! I wasn't originally going to make this a blog, but I figured putting all this into an Instagram caption is a bit long-winded and I've found with topics like this it's quite therapeutic to write my thoughts out on here! Another year has flown by and pretty soon we'll all be seeing the "New Year, New Me" posts as people inevitably set goals for themselves for 2019 and start using that gym membership they've finally signed up for. Which is great. It's good to set yourself targets and a new year is a perfectly good reason for doing so. Usually, I'd be one of those people but this year I've decided I'm not making any resolutions.  That's not to say I haven't got goals or things I'd like to achieve in 2019. This year has been pretty up and down, both in terms of my mental health and with drama school. There are some really great memories in there too, and though I ...

If Wanderlust Was an Eyeshadow Palette... // Urban Decay Born to Run Palette Review

I think this is probably my last post of 2018, so it seemed fitting to end the year with one of the best purchases I've made! I am honestly so impressed by this palette - it was originally released over the summer and features 24 beautiful shades and a full-size mirror, and I can tell this will definitely be a staple for whenever I travel as it's such a versatile palette. I actually bought this in October with some birthday money but I just haven't had time to sit down and write a blog post unfortunately. RRP £39.50 The palette is priced at £39.50, which is fairly standard for an Urban Decay eyeshadow palette. You get a really beautiful range of shades, from warm mattes to gorgeous jewel tones, which means you can create a real variety of looks with it: Breakaway - a shimmery ivory colour. I love this as a browbone highlight as it's quite subtle! Stranded - a champagne shimmer. Blaze - a shimmery peachy pink shade with a gorgeous gold shift. Weekender - a ...

Birchbox Goodies // December 2018

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... And I'm definitely in the mood after seeing the design for this month's Birchbox! This is definitely my favourite design yet and the products inside were gorgeous as well. This month, I received a Benefit Galifornia blush, a Rituals body cream, a sheet mask from Oh K!, a Lartizy liquid lipstick and a Percy & Reed hair mask. As a bonus Christmas treat, I also got a comb and two little chocolates from Hotel Chocolat (which obviously didn't last long at all!) Benefit Cosmetics Galifornia Blush RRP £25.50 I actually already own this blush - it came as part of my  Cheek Parade blush palette  and it's definitely a shade I've used a lot! It's a really pretty hot pink shade, and like all of Benefit's powders, it applies really easily! It is quite pigmented so a little goes a long way, but it's a perfect shade for summer if you want a pop of pink on your cheeks! Would I buy again? Definitely! Ri...
