Bobbi's Bubble

I've been a bit quiet on the blog and on Instagram for the last couple of weeks - my workload at uni has increased massively so I've found it hard to keep on top of posts. I also had a little wobble at the beginning of last week which I've struggled to move on from, so I wanted to give myself a bit of time before I launched myself back into posts. I may write something about it, but I'm not sure just yet. But I'm back and I thought it would be good to finally share my thoughts on this month's Birchbox as it's very nearly the end of the month! This box has been all about those summer vibes, and I am 100% feeling that given the gorgeous weather we've been having recently! In this box, I received the Skinny Liquid Eyeliner from Eyeko, a charcoal deodorant balm from Native Unearthed, a Caudalie make-up removing oil, a Greenfrog Botanic body wash and a Doucce lip stain.

Well, this blog post almost didn't happen: Rhianna released two shades of the Body Lava - "Who Needs Clothes?", a rose-gold shade and "Brown Sugar", a tan/gold shade - along with the Fairy Bomb glitter pom pom and a kabuki brush and of course, made them limited edition so everyone and their mother was after these! I very nearly missed out on getting this, but thanks to some luck from the make-up gods (and the fact that Fenty's products are so universally flattering) I managed to get my hands on it. It's a tale of dashed hopes and desperation, but it is easily up there with the great classics:  I popped into Harvey Nichols with my boyfriend, looking for a birthday present, and stopped by the Fenty counter to have a look at the new releases. They had both shades of the Body Lava in stock, but Rory convinced me to wait until later in the week when I was getting paid for some work I'd done through the university.
