It's A Revolution // Revolution Conceal and Define Review

Ok, so I know I'm massively late to the party with this as everyone has been raving about it since Revolution first released it, however, I am SHOOKETH. This is easily one of the best concealers I've ever used and I'm blown away by how good it is, especially when you factor in the price tag!  I have been wanting to try this since it came out as I'd heard such good things about it, but whenever I went into the Superdrug in the Bullring they either didn't have my shade or had no testers available for me to try it first (I learnt a long time ago to NEVER buy concealer or foundation without a quick swatch first!). Up until now, I've been using the Benefit Boi-ing Industrial Strength concealer, which I do really like but since I'm going to broke for the foreseeable future (shout out to Student Finance for being utterly useless), I figured it was best to try and get hold of a drugstore one when I ran out. The Conceal and Define concealer retails for £4, but...

Birchbox Goodies // August 2018

Can someone please tell me where this summer has gone?? I can't believe August is nearly over - in just over a week I'll be moving back to Birmingham ready to start my second year of drama school! Excuse me while I try and hold on to the last few weeks of decent weather before we all end up windswept and soaked with rain! Luckily, this month's Birchbox has plenty of products to help us feel like we're still enjoying the heatwave. They've teamed up with Etsy for this box and have enlisted 10 of their sellers to create 10 beautiful designs! My box was created by The Lovely Drawer and it's so cute - it really reminds me of like a funky animal print! In this box, I received a Dirty Little Secret eyeshadow crayon, a CLÉ Cosmetics lip powder, a pomegranate face mask from Dr.Botanicals, a Luseta conditioner and a Rituals foaming shower gel! Dirty Little Secret Eyeshadow Crayon in "Fetch" RRP £10.50 So I've actually used this more as a highlighter...

Feeling Hot Hot Hot // Fenty Beauty Moroccan Spice Palette Review

It feels pretty fitting to be writing a post on one of this summer's hottest eyeshadow palettes whilst simultaneously melting due to Britain's current heatwave situation! So Fenty released the Moroccan Spice palette back in July and honestly I have been lusting after it ever since! I probably wouldn't have ended up getting it (it retails for £42 and I would have had to pay postage on it as I don't have a Harvey Nichols near me back home in Suffolk) however while I was in Italy earlier this summer I had a few Euros left over and the Sephora in Lucca happened to have it in stock - it worked out a bit cheaper to buy it over there as well and to be honest that's all the convincing I needed! The palette came out as part of a new launch from Fenty that included a liquid eyeliner, an eyeshadow primer and two new eyeshadow brushes. For £42, you get 16 shadows (7 matte and 9 shimmer/glitter) so it is more on the expensive side when I compare it to the other pale...

Splurge Or Save? // Stila Stay All Day Liner vs Soap & Glory Supercat Skinny Liner

I am back with another Splurge Or Save? post and this time I'm looking at two felt-tip liners! I always struggled with eyeliner when I first started getting into makeup: I found normal liquid liners were too messy and with gel liners, I could never get a neat line and I often found they dried out really quickly. I soon discovered felt-tip eyeliners though and I've never looked back! I've found most of the ones I've tried are really easy to use and enable me to get a neat line which I can then build up into the thickness that I want. I discovered the Stila Stay All Day liner about 2 years ago and it's definitely my favourite felt-tip liner I've tried so far! That being said, it is £15 so it's more on the expensive side so I wanted to see if I could find a cheaper drugstore dupe - enter the Soap & Glory Supercat Skinny liner! Keep reading to see how these two compare! Stila Stay All Day Liner So as I said before, this is hands-down my favourite f...
