Bobbi's Bubble

Well here we are, my last blog post of 2017! This year has been pretty full-on to be honest; I finally got into drama school, I performed in some really great shows, I went on my first girl's holiday with my best friend, I've met some truly awesome people and of course, bought loads of make up and hair products! I probably won't get chance to write another post between now and the new year because I'm doing quite a few hours at work and I've also got loads of research to do ready for my next project at drama school (come at me Chekhov!), so I thought I'd finish off with my last Birchbox of the year - I've really enjoyed reviewing these and they've been a really fantastic way of trying new products! There's been a few hits and misses but I have definitely discovered a couple of new brands that have been fantastic.

I mean, it was only a matter of time before Fenty Beauty started appearing on my blog. Rihanna launched this line earlier in the summer, and the world went into meltdown - mostly because her foundation shades were so inclusive, not only for people with darker skin who very rarely find their shade in mainstream beauty lines but she's also catered for people who have albinism. Her range is probably more on the pricier side of things (I'd say around about the same kind of prices as brands like Benefit or Urban Decay) but from what I've tried so far, her products are more than worth the money! Rihanna is a huge role model for me - her no nonsense, no bullshit attitude is something I think is hugely important and she's one of the few celebrities out their who put their money where their mouth is in terms of social justice. She is a huge champion of diversity (as shown in her ad for Fenty) and she's someone I really admire. If you've followed the blog for a while,...
