The Holy Grail Primer // Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Review

Have you ever found a product so good it puts you off ever trying another one again, because you know in your heart that you'll never find one as good? Well that's how I feel about this primer! I've tried many different primers over the years but none of them have even come close to this one.  This is one product that continuously tops make-up charts. It's a cult favourite, especially for those who have to tackle oily skin. I have more of a combination skin-type, but I've found it works just as well on the non-oily parts of my face as it does in my T-zone; it mattifies the oilier parts of my face, such as my forehead but also leaves my cheeks which tend to be drier feeling smooth without sucking any moisture out of them. It has a smooth, non-greasy formula that is really easy to blend into the skin - I've often found with primers that have a thicker consistency that they either break up underneath the foundation after a while or feel so heavy that you end up...

Unicorn Essentials // New Spectrum Goodies Review

When Spectrum Collections send you an email with the words #NationalUnicornDay and Sale in it, you don't really have much choice do you? A couple of weeks ago (you can tell how far behind I am with blog posts) was National Unicorn Day and Spectrum Collections had some money off a selection of their products. I absolutely love Spectrum products; I think they're a really high quality and good value for money and let's face it, they look absolutely stunning too! I'd been looking to replace my beauty blender as it was getting a bit ratty, so I decided to purchase their Unicorn Tears Wonder Sponge and as it was on offer I also bought the Unicorn Horn Polish brush cleaner!  Unicorn Tears Wonder Sponge This is a really great little sponge to use! I used the pointed end to blend in my concealer under my eyes and it was small enough to reach right into the corners to ensure everything was all blended together. I then used the round end on the rest of my face. It ble...

Birchbox Goodies // April 2017

Another month, another Birchbox review! This time Birchbox has teamed up with clothing brand Boden to produce an exclusive print for this month's box! There was also an offer for subscribers to get their hands on a Boden accessory for a little bit extra. This box included three full-size products which is really exciting! I got the Manna Kadar High Definition Powder, a ModelCo EYE DEFINE Crayon Liner, a Polaar IcePure Gentle Scrub, a Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat and a Ba ïja Paris Cr ème Moana . What's In My Box? Manna Kadar Cosmetics High Definition Powder I've been looking for a setting powder for quite a while now so I was really excited to try this product. Or at least, I would have been if I'd actually been able to get a decent amount out! This is supposedly a full-size sample but the pan is so tiny it makes it really hard to get any product on your brush! I get that you don't need to use a huge amount as it's meant to be a light dusting, but ma...
