Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette Review

Oh my goodness, ok so you don't even understand my excitement for being able to write this blog post! I have been lusting after this palette ever since Urban Decay announced its release over the summer. It was released in the UK in October and ever since then I have been praying for an excuse to go and buy it. Thankfully that excuse came when I covered a shift at the Fat Face store in Stansted airport with a side-mission of blowing my wages in duty-free. It's priced at £38.50 and features 12 brand new matte shades that are exclusive to this palette, so you won't find them on any other Urban Decay eyeshadow palette. You also get a double-ended brush thrown in too, which has a fluffy blending end and a stubby brush for smudging. As you've probably guessed from my blogs, I'm a huuuuuuuuuuge Urban Decay fan (to the point where it's become a bit of a problem that I need to address). I already own the Naked 3 palette as well as an MUA Hall of Fame palette, which bo...

Gorgeous Glitter // Nyx Haul Review

Nyx Glitter Primer, Infinite Shadowstick in "Crystal" and Face and Body Glitter in "Ice" So my Christmas party with work is this weekend and that basically gives me the perfect excuse to go all out with my make-up, especially with the eyes, so of course it's time to break out the glitter! Now I've never attempted glitter eye make-up before, so after watching a few YouTube tutorials (I mostly used Carli Bybel's Holiday look from a couple of years ago for this one) I went straight over to the Boot's website and started shopping! I ended up getting everything from Nyx; they're really affordable and all of their products I've used before are really good quality. The first product straight in my basket was the Infinite Shadowstick in "Crystal" (£6.50). I've seen loads of beauty bloggers using this product and it's the same one Carli used in her tutorial, so I'm quite excited to try it! Next on my list was the Glitter P...

Laura Geller Lustereyes 24 Hour Eyeliner Review

As much as I hate my mum leaving me to go and visit her family in Oxford, she has a pretty good habit of coming back with some absolute gems for me; this time was no exception. As well as a gorgeous grey Jack Wills nail varnish and a Rimmel blush, she also brought me back this Laura Geller eyeliner. I'm not too good with proper liquid eyeliner so recently I've opted for felt-tip liners, but this brush is so thin and the handle is a good size so I think it might be quite easy to use! I can't find a set price for this one online; it's not listed on the website, so I don't know if it's discontinued. However there were some eBay listings for about £8-£10 so it might be easy to find on there!
